Lech-Lecha לך-לך is seeking a Program Director. Lech-Lecha facilitates transformative outdoor adventures across the United States. The director will be responsible for Lech-Lecha’s three primary program divisions: Teens & Families, Adults, and Organizations, in addition to Specialty Programming. The Program Director will be supported by our Logistics Coordinator and will be working closely alongside our Director of Outreach & Engagement and Executive Director. Rich institutional knowledge and automated processes will support your efficiency and effectiveness.

Salary: $1,500-$4,000/month
Previous Experience
Experience in outdoor adventure, program development, and communications is essential to thriving in this role. While past experience is important, we are also seeking an individual motivated to learn and develop new skills.

This is a remote position in which you will be working in conjunction with our team on the web and over the phone. The advantage of this environment is its flexibility: work wherever you want, often choose when you want as well. Teen & Adult Immersives
- Planning year-round program calendar
- Creating trek itineraries
- Securing permits and reservations
- Furthering curriculum development with support of Executive Director
- Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and assigning trek leaders
- Planning & facilitating trek leader training with support of Executive Director
- Guiding trek leaders leading up to individual treks
- Communicating with registered participants prior to treks with support of outreach department
- Coordinating logistics with Logistics Coordinator
- Evaluation & program improvement
- Engage in Outreach & Engagement activities, as needed.
Teen & Adult Single Day Programming
- Overseeing Lech-Lecha Communities: local community leaders facilitating accessible, local experiences throughout the year
- Offering accessible opportunities for teen participants, past, present, and future, to connect to one another and to Lech-Lecha
Organizations
- Outreach to potential client organizations & sustaining relationships with past clients
- Communicating and planning treks with client organizations
- Networking within our geographical hubs via phone and zoom meetings
Specialty Programming
- Planning & facilitating specialty programming including Bike Ride for Israel, Chesed Opportunities, and other potential specialty programs
Hours: 20 - 40 hours/week

- Organizational skills: Juggling multiple projects and tasks is common in this role. Our Programming Director will have significant autonomy in completing assigned tasks and will be supported in remaining organized and responsible.
- Detail-oriented: In many ways the Program Director will be the face of our organization, in communication with participants and organizations. Orientation to detail is an important skill that presents professionalism and responsibility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The role entails writing clearly, concisely, and professionally and communicating warmly and caringly with participants, community leaders, and potential participants.
- Technological proficiency: We seek to maximize efficiency and professionalism with the use of technology and automation as much as possible.

- Teamwork: This position will be highly collaborative, working with trek organizers, Lech-Lecha Directors, and our fundraising officer,
