Lech-Lecha לך-לך is seeking a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for creating and publishing marketing materials in addition to managing social media networks and developing newsletters and other publications. The Specialist will work under the direction and with the support of Lech-Lecha’s Director of Outreach & Engagement in addition to reporting to the Executive Director.

Responsibilities
Hours: 10-20 hours/week
Compensation: $800 - $1700
Previous Experience
Education and experience in design, social media, and digital marketing.

This is a remote position in which you will be working in conjunction with our team on the web and over the phone. The advantage of this environment is its flexibility: work wherever you want, often choose when you want as well. The challenge is that it requires a high level of self-organization, motivation, and responsiveness. While we seek to work together and collaborate as much as possible, self-discipline is essential to finding success in this role.

- Creating marketing materials such as posts, flyers, reels, and videos.
- Coordinating contributions from team members, participants, and others to social media
- Managing Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn accounts
- Expanding our network of connections and relationships over social media
- Communicating directly with participants and interested parties through social media
- Constructing bi-weekly emails to be sent out to our mailing list through Mailerlite
- Beautifying reports (i.e. transforming content of Annual Impact Report into a beautiful product suitable for distribution to our stakeholders)

- Digital Marketing: The applicant should have artistic abilities to create beautiful, professional marketing material. Familiarity with Canva and MailerLite is an advantage.
- Independence and Organizational skills: Our specialist will have significant autonomy in completing assigned tasks and will be supported in remaining organized and responsible. As a remote position, our specialist must be independent and accountable.
- Detail-oriented: In many ways you will be the face of our organization, sharing through social media and creating publications. Orientation to detail is an important skill that we will work with you to develop.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The role entails writing clearly, concisely, and professionally and communicating warmly and caringly with our community.
- Creativity: We are a burgeoning entrepreneurial non-profit, and your creativity is highly encouraged.
- Teamwork: This position will be highly collaborative, working with trek organizers, Lech-Lecha Directors, and our Fundraising Officer.
- Ability to work independently and take appropriate initiative.
