The Pemigewasset Loop near Lincoln, New Hampshire follows extremely rugged, exposed, remote, and difficult terrain.  Some of the most punishing and challenging terrain in New England! Make no mistake, this hike is difficult.  As hard as this hike is, it's just as rewarding. Walking along the Franconia Ridge just under the clouds and taking in the landscape is an amazing experience.
